Is this called a Minaret?

It is on top of the building housing the local Co-Operative store, but it was built as a church originally.

It has been a quiet and relaxed day today. I have caught up with hobbies watched TV and got my things ready for work tonight. 

As I needed to go to the Post Office (Also in the Co-Op building.) I figured I would look for a Blip at the same time. 

It was pretty gloomy, and definitely cold, while I was out there. It has brightened up a bit now, but will still be freezing no doubt. We have had no snow here, or at least none worth mentioning. I gather other parts of UK have plenty as I have seen a few snow-covered cars.
