Peaceful waters

On my way to work, I often take a minor detour to drive along the water front coming into Leith which is where this picture was taken from. There is something about the water that I find calming and that is a good way to start the day, particularly a Monday. My gran used to say we find the water calming because 'we humans are made up of 70% water so we identify with other great sources of water'.  However the same lovely lady also used to say to me as a child 'eat your bread crusts, they will put hair on your chest?!'.... That is not appealing (to girls) even at the age of seven!
