~Cloudless Sunset~
~Not The Moon~
Reason for my subtitle, I was up before dawn shooting the moonset.
The moon was settling over Saddlebrooke Ridge right at sunrise.
The sky was a beautiful blue and the ridge was lit by the rising sun.
But as so often happens to me, the sunset was more spectacular.
So I choose the more colorful image, and the more difficult one, too!
Five or six clicks and I had my moonset photograph, it was done!
On the other hand, I shot about eighty images on that darn sunset.
And still had to do a lot of PS-ing to get an acceptable reproduction.
And I'm not even sure about the use of the term acceptable.
Maybe barely tolerable is more correct, in my own opinion.
Oh well!
Thanks for stopping to look and read.
Edit - I had an illumination while in the dark of my backyard.
Why did I have such a hard time getting this image just right.
Then I realized I had taken a 30mm picture up to around 70 mm.
High ISO, plus magnification, plus saturated colors, equals problems.
Won't do that again, learned something new tonight, while in the dark.
