Possible pier plover?

Drove down to see my parents in Kent today. What a difference with the new Dartford crossing system; no queuing or Anya screaming whilst stuck in a traffic jam, bliss!

We went out to catch the last bit of light for a stroll along the seafront & pier before heading home for tea.

So am I right, is this a plover?
