No wonder it is cold!
Living in Southern Spain (and not far inland from the coast) it is a rare sight to see snow. So this caught my eye (and breath!) this morning. The Natural park of The Sierra de las Nieves (the clue is in the name - snow!)... was by my reckoning 10 miles (30km) inland from us. I have googled it and in fact the above mountain, shot from my back patio, is 20 miles away. (Hence the noise and grain as I only have a 3.60 x zoom (28-102mm) and 7.2MP.)
The mountain is called the 'Torrecilla' and stands at 1.919 meters above sea level (6,295 feet.)
