New Zealand bach style!

Holiday cottages , often by lake or sea , are called baches ( pronounced batches) in the North Island and cribs in the South Island. They traditionally were simply built ( often by Dad and the boys at weekends) and furnished with items no longer " good enough" for the main home. The twin bedroom at our Bach still sports old candle wick bedspreads, probably from the 50s and Namco beds with a wire wove spring frame upon which to rest the mattress...simple , but they do the job!
