Fiesta Cubana

To celebrate my birthday (a few days late), I cooked a magnificent feast using the recipes from my new Cuban cookbook. This cake was baked for me by my boys and is decidedly NOT Cuban, but happens to be my favorite cake in the whole world.

Veronika came over, and we had a most wonderful meal.
