Mouser!

After a lovely sunny weekend, it was back to grey, dreary weather today, with some light snow flurries in the morning. Laura and I had just finished our lunch, when Laura saw the neighbour's cat in our garden. She appeared to be after something, and sure enough, after a while we saw she had a mouse in her mouth, which she then proceeded to eat. Our cat in the States would catch mice, but she would never eat them - she would play with them or bring them to the doorstep and leave them as a gift! Having seen that one off, she came toward the house and stood by the side of the patio, with her head cocked to one side, and a few seconds later she caught another one - this one, however, she left, and it appeared to recover!
