A strange concoction,
Once popular at tea time,
Now a sugar bowl.

met a couple of  friends for lunch today ... we used to work together a long time ago (nearly 30 years!) and have kept in touch since - through different jobs,  houses, marriage, babies, teenagers etc. We could write a book or three between us!!  Anyway we try and meet about once a month for a pub lunch and a catch up.

This time we met at a pub in Lewes   .... this tin was the sugar bowl which was brought with our coffee.  I thought spam had long since been consigned to history, but if you look at the tin you will see it mentions new-fangled things like microwaves and social media .... god forbid that the ghastly stuff is still available!
