Finally, the long awaited tribute to the Bombardment of Hartlepool. This is the only location in the country where
land forces engaged with enemy warships.

This is remembered every 16th December, and after the
100th anniversary of the event a token of respect to those
civilians, men , women and children who lost their lives
that day.
