Almost could be called a hen party

When out and about in the city back streets I heard a drumming sound and followed a lot of ladies into a small shrine and then into a wedding tent.  The bride to be had to perform a puja so they didn't seem to mind that I took photos alongside the two official photographers.  Finally some of the ladies danced and people waved bank notes above their heads and then tucked the notes into the drummer's pocket and into the tray held by the lady who had helped perform the puja.
