John's Way
Another busy day as family taxi. In one of the quiet periods I walked down to Blyth Bridge via the hardly-ever-used riverside path called John's Way.
I found a purple mini spacehopper in the river, which I took to the play park. Maybe it had started off there, thrown off the bridge by some teenager during the summer.
I picked up the charity accounts, chatted on the Currie's doorstep and headed home.
I went home via Grant shall and got caught in a pond of slurry in the end field. Not the most welcoming thing for a farmer to dump on what's supposed to be a public footpath.
