Somehow I ended up being awake from 5 this morning, with everybody else dozing on and off until about 7.45 when I got up. Amelie had possibly been awake for just as long as I could hear her chatting away... The children and I had breakfast and I got ready for my run. My hip had started to niggle last night again but I stretched it out and ran anyway. It was ok until I got to 5k but I was 5k away from home! So I managed 10k in less time than last week and in not too much discomfort. I might just do 5k next week to rest it a bit. Anyway, home for a shower and the shopping arrived. Amelie and Isaac watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, one of their favourites. We had lunch and then popped to the shop to get things I had forgotten to order (woops) We planned to find a new park to go to for a change so we drove around a bit and ended up at Rowney Warren (Chicksands) which we had been past before but hadnt stopped as we didnt know were to park. None of us were really dressed for a woodland walk except Isaac in his beloved wellies. We had a lovely walk though and the kids had great fun. Home for hot chocolates and skype with Nana, Kaydi and Freya and then dinner. Amelie read her book so quickly this evening and did really well with some tricky words! She also did a great job of tidying the living room earlier without being asked. Sound asleep beside me now. Im hoping its not another 6am wake up tomorrow as she needs more sleep!
