Giving Blood

I finally managed to give blood again after a two year gap,caused by travelling to places where I might have picked up something nasty, or by just not being around when the blood collection wagon came through town. My sister required several life sustaining transfusions as a baby, so I was brought up with the knowledge that I had to give as and when I could, and I started when I was 18. Yesterday was my 51st.
