And finally we had snow! I am of the mindset that if you are going to have a winter, then make it a good one cold and snowy - a bit like summer - make it sunny and hot. Nothing worse than a bit of grey and damp!

So this morning when it snowed and then the sun followed we rushed to get dressed and out. Wanting a walk and wanting a chance to sled - we compromised by heading up high and then walking up the mountain to find a suitable sledging part. It was blowing a gale (bit like last Sunday really) and the snow drifts were lovely and deep in parts - it was brilliant.

Loved capturing Zachary against the drama of the blowing wind, sled on back and a grim determination!

Eventually settled down the valley to a far more suitable place - lovely fast slope and sheltered from the wind - glorious!
