High Tide & Calm Waters

I'd taken an emergency blip of some very interesting ice formations on the car bonnet first thing morning as I had to clean get the car cleaned (a fiver), go shopping and, most importantly, watch West Ham on the telly. They won 3-0 at home to Hull City!

Having looked at the tide times and weather forecast (very light breeze) I decided to head for a favourite Bristol location, the Cumberland Basin. While I've been here many times with the camera, and blipped from here virtually every time, this is my first night blip of the Clifton Suspension Bridge from here. Just before it started raining the sky turned this blue/purple colour. An hour well spent.
