Neil

I've still got loads of the 'Chewbacca' material so I made Neil on Friday night - the sloth from the sofa adverts in the middle of Google box. It was worth it to say to my partner (who had been out during the craft frenzy) that Neil was in the lounge waiting for Goggle Box and to hear her laugh out loud when she found him on the sofa :)

Today a cycle until my toes were numb with the cold. Even with goretex shoes and merino wool socks. Time to bring back my old hiking books and hard core socks. I did some long distance cycling in Australia and in the freezing centre wore my big hiking boots the whole time. I'd forgotten that until today. I've got the modern neoprene overboots right enough but they seem overkill for shorter cycle runs.
