Boxgrove Priory, near Chichester
These are the ruins of the guest house at Boxgrove Priory, looking impressive in the sunshine this afternoon. Still cold but better than dull any day.
The priory has a long history of housing travellers as well as working in and for the community. A most valuable asset to the area in the days when healing, educating and caring were not available by any other means. The Priory Church of St Mary and St Blaise is still open every day and is one of the most beautiful and interesting churches I've ever seen.
