Old Pale to Staffordshire
Another walk up Old Pale today with a second attempt to sort out the walk for the walking group. It was completely different weather this time with a sprinkling of snow on the ground and there was also a temperature inversion with cloud and mist collecting at a low level which you can just see on the horizon.
The pillar in the foreground is one of a series surrounding the top representing the type of stone found in the counties visible from the top. This one is the Staffordshire stone.
