Race Day

The race was divided into two sections, the elite, professional teams and the hundreds of enthusiastic amateurs. The latter came in all disguises, young and old, the competent and the not so competent but all seemed to be enjoying themselves and added to the atmosphere of the occasion. These guys were trying hard but not amongst the elite.
