Dream skiing

These are the kind of days which ski-mountaineers dream of: deep powder, blue skies, untracked mountains. Looking across the valley, these tracks on the shoulder of the hillside were made by some impressive off-piste skiers, who made for an early start. Notice the avalanche to the left of their tracks.
Meanwhile we headed up the local lifts behind our house for a fabulous day out on piste.
