Denison bridge and Macquarie River.
Today we took Max and Oscar for a long walk today along the river. This is the Macquarie which starts a few kilometres from Bathurst and travels 636 km before joining other river systems and finally reaches the sea over near Adelaide, thousands of kilometres away.
The bridge is one built in the 1800s and was replaced some years ago by a plain concrete structure which can cope with the large amount of traffic.
The boys were very well behaved while they were visiting. No tears in three days. We have to keep an eye on them all the time, last time Oscar was visiting he fed the fish...all the food at once.
