Beginnings of New Watercolor Wolf/Full Moon
So, here is a new beginning...This composition is
strictly from my imagination. The question is,
"What am I trying to say?" Nearly half of
our life is spent sleeping; what are we missing
during our nights of darkness?...A different nocturnal
world--this I wish to portray. I was touched by
the January full moon. It was a beauty, but I only
noticed it at daylight the next morning. I was disappointed,
but resolved to tell a visual story of what I missed.
That was the genesis of this new composition. I
took a dinner plate and traced a perfect circle and
hoped to anchor it down with a silhouette...I made
up the tree on the upper right. Finally, a snowy owl
will appear on the lower right. These parts must
work together to tell a nocturnal story. Can I accomplish
this.....Who knows, but I am challenged.
