Hello New Zealand!
By far the most friendly and welcoming airport staff, on and off the plane. I love it here already. It was dark as we flew in, I stayed awake for how ever many hours it took. We had booked a nearby hotel that was really comfy, slept like a log and then got up and picked up out camper. It's a Toyata Hiace with a high top, similar to Ian but without the psychedelic-ness and quite abit more modern!

Christchurch was much more creative than I expected, lots of cool little shops in shipping containers and some big graffiti. Also explored some other interesting streets and gardens, it's sunny! Next stop lake Tekapo.
