On the river

A huge amount of fun was had today. This is me standing on the Mississippi! We went on a road trip today, visiting 3 states, starting in Wisconsin we crossed the bridge in behind me to Dubuque, Iowa, where we had some fun on the ice, had lunch and then crossed the other bridge to take us in to Illinois. We then went to Galena, which is a really pretty wee town, and had a wander. The evening was spent playing games with another colleague's family. All in all it was the kind of day when your cheeks hurt from laughing! Tomorrow will be an entirely new experience - a Packer Party!
