Hygge

I don't communicate enough with the Danish division of my family, so this Blip is dedicated to Grace, Claus, Maria, Philip, Franciska, and Marlon.

As I relax by the fire tonight, hoping for my back pain to be nothing more than just a temporary inconvenience, I reflect on an article I read today about Hygge.

In the dark days of Winter, Danes commune around a fire with family and friends, and do nothing more than share life, stay warm, and enjoy time together. Okay, perhaps some drinking, singing and dancing may be included. I have no problem with that. Sounds like fun.

Tonight, I am enjoying a Virtual Hygge, complete with a Black Velvet on the rocks, Mika, Oliver, Bobby, and a fire.

We are cozy and relaxed.

Maybe we can enjoy this live one day.
