'Poppy'

This Tom Merrifield, ballerina statue, is located by the lifts beside the Anvil Theatre, Basingstoke.  We attended a wonderful Strauss concert there, this afternoon. 
It was made at the Morris Singer British art foundry  which was established in 1848.  They also were famous for the lions at Trafalgar Square, Eros and the figures of Henry Moore. It went into liquidation in 2006 but was relaunched at Lasham, Hampshire in 2011.
