No sandcastles today!

A simply glorious walk to Loch Laggan today. The lack of any beach, due to such high water, was more than made up for by the snow!

It was dry and pretty chilly - so much so that my phone kept switching itself off - but such a pleasure being out. Caley had such fun too: the snow seems to make his walk even more exciting. We even managed to come home without losing the ball today which was a bonus!

A very cold night here now but the fire is on and Mr Cakes is away to collect the takeaway. I'll just open the wine then......
