The cliffs at our local beach.
These cliffs are a magnet for fossil collectors and a large selection of giant gastropods and gryphea have been found here. There are also lots of ammonites, fish skeletons, sponges and corals to be found within the rocks particulary on the East side of the beach! The white dot on the far coast line is Hinkley Point nuclear power station near Bridgewater in Somerset.
