Golf today :-)

The great thing about having joined a golf club is that I can go and play whenever I want whenever Mrs Nicktor allows me, and it doesn't cost any more money :-)

This is the view from the 5th tee at Old Thorns - a stunning view over the Hampshire countryside. The previous two occasions I'd played this hole, I'd hit a stonking drive straight into the middle of the fairway and followed up with a perfect short iron onto the green for 2 pars.

Today not so good - played down the fairway of the hole on the right hand side, but managed to get out of jail with a 9 iron that landed a couple of inches from the hole to rescue a bogey.

And I beat Kevin, so happy days :-)
