Last Day Off

While I enjoyed my two days off, not getting up at 4am, I am looking forward to work again tomorrow.
The herds have been switched around and our cows that were AI'd are now a once a day herd so that we can focus on feeding them well and maintaining their condition right up till they calve in July. The cows that were naturally mated are being retested in 6 weeks time and they are still being milked twice a day but will be getting 3000kg of grass silage a day.
Most likely a busy week and some hot days ahead!
