world in a grain of sand

Ella, running

A lovely day today. Started early with a visit to a colleague's plant sale, came away with peppers, beans and more. Visited the Brackly antiques cellar - it lives under Waitrose (there's a clue in the name) and is slightly spooky because the set up is lots of units with no people, only a myriad of notices saying there is CCTV. If you want to buy anything you take it to a central sales desk. I bought an apple crate which doesn't fit where I thought it would so am now running a competition for best ideas for using an apple crate.
This afternoon a friend visted with her small daughters. We went to see the piglets, hens and horses and they were considered very good value. I like this photo because it captures some of the excitement of the occasion.
