It has to go!

I can't stand this lamp. I want it gone. This is the view above my head. Sad thing is it's the last object that my husband brought with him so I jeep it around.

It's been 5 years and I think it's time to go lamp shopping!

What do you think? Is 5 years long enough to allow him to have this alien-like, 60's dated, spotlight, industrial ugliness?
