There and back again

Through the tea shop windows

This was taken from the window of the tea rooms over Trinity House in the square of our little town where Mrs M and I were enjoying a hot chocolate. On the walls of the tea room there are a series of old photographs going back to Victorian times which depict the scene we are watching this morning, in past years.

Apart from the fashions and the model of cars it has not changed for over a hundred years. The same buildings with different names but the same scene. Somehow quite satisfying.
