Lochend Woods
I've tried this upward movement technique with my compact camera on a couple of occasion before but on this occasion I was using my slr on a tripod, not so easy to do when you have a geared tripod head and you have hold the gear release open in order to move the camera. I should try it with a normal pan and tilt head. What you get is usually arrived more by luck than trial and error and the whole impressionistic approach is very much a "marmite" choice ( you either like it or you don't). As the outer trees bend further outwards when you tilt the camera up I decided to remove the curvature using the warp tool. The thumbnail choice has now arrived and that is a godsend, thanks blip central !
