I love this painting. It's me, painted by Faith O'Reilly who is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Art and a good friend. She painted it about fifteen years ago and the curious thing is that, although she had met neither my mother nor my brother at that time, she managed to incorporate them, unwittingly, into the painting.
