Stone the Crows!

There's been a Day of Dance going on in Liverpool today and there were more morris sides in town than you could shake a stick at!

I took the opportunity to have a chat with some of the dancers and was particularly taken with these two members of Stone the Crows Morris from Leyland in Lancashire.

Traditional English dance is the butt of much mockery but if you ever get the opportunity to see Rachel and Becky Unthank's great documentary 'Still Folk Dancing... After All These Years' then do give it a watch - it's fascinating stuff.
