"Where have you been?...

...I haven't seen you for two days!"

Is how the Rooster greeted me when I arrived home tonight.  It was true, a long day yesterday and an early start this morning meant it was the first time I had seen him since I put him to bed on Tuesday night.  

The wee fella greeted me as he always does, and ran at me with a big hug, shouting, "Mummyyyyy!" :-)

He then demonstrated his reading as I ate my dinner across the table from him.  He was very good. 

It was another long day so after I finished eating...it was time for them to head to bed, past time by a wee bit actually!
