Crab
This bush of gorgeous blue flowers has given me some tremendous blips of late. Perhaps it deserves to have its own blip soon, so the plantists amongst you can have a go at finding an ID for me.
Most unusual for a white crab spider to adopt a blue bloom for a home. They usually partially adopt the color of their host plant, making them very difficult to spot. No problem with this one though, it stuck out like the proverbial sore thumb.
Crab spiders are all of the family Thomasidae. I have several species that I need to get down to some ID research.
