Promise

Miss C became a proper Brownie this evening. She recited the promise, together with three other newer members of the pack flawlessly. Beloved and Master H came along too and as Miss I is still a Brownie, we were all there to see the event. Next week will be Miss I's last at Brownies as she started Guides this week. Master H passed the time, running around the hall with the car keys and inspecting fire extinguishers, an activity that seemed to be highly enjoyable, but was rapidly curtailed.

Fellow drivers on the A12 were apparently throwing themselves at each other again this morning. As a result, the commute this morning took less than 2 hours, but not by much.
