Snowdrops

Today's the day ......................... to hang in there

Saw these lovely little flowers today in someone's garden - and took a sneaky picture from under the fence.

They greatly cheered my day because otherwise I would just be thinking that we are right in the middle of winter with no sign of light at the end of the tunnel.  I can hear the wind howling outside and the rain is lashing at the window.  The forecast for the next few days is for it all to turn much colder and for the (in my world) dreaded snow to appear.  How I hate this time of the year!

But short of emigrating to somewhere with a warmer climate (very tempting) - I'll just have to hang in there and sit it out ............................
