Covered in butterflies.....
Our white melaleucas around our home at Redgate, Margaret River are blooming and are covered in long white bottle brush flowers. They occur naturally along the coast and are the size of a large shrub or small tree.
Walking past them is like walking into a butterfly enclosure with many butterflies flying around your head.
After I took this foto I looked up the name of the butterflies and some unimaginative person had named them "common brown butterfly". How pathetic - surely they deserve better!
Can you give them a better name?
