Anticipation

Not wishing to be a hero and battle the elements to take photographs In the teeth of today's gale, I set up a still-life with some of my gardening paraphernalia with its promise of better days to come. The backdrop is a 'tidy' with lots of broad pockets to take hand tools like the decorative little trowel and fork, and packets of seeds etc. It normally hangs in the summer cabin, but is propped up here in the kitchen and lit by a LED downlight. Note the little plaque - 'Gardening forever - housework whenever' - a motto, I soundly endorse!
