Making a Spectacle of Oneself

The Spectacle is one of the quite surreal objects in the window of the 17th century Seven Stars pub in Carey Street, which is full of character and quite near to where I work.

I (vaguely) remember spending an evening there a few years ago with my brother and his friends, where I tried pink gin for the first (and last) time.  Hopefully, I didn't make too much of a spectacle of myself...did you see what I did there?  eh? eh?   Sorry.
