Rock Climbers!

Shipley Plateau is quite famous as a rock climbing destination and many rock climbers travel from all over the world to conquer the craggy escarpments.

I was highly amused to see one of my neighbours has adorned his already quirky letter box with these two little rock climbing characters.  Just recently the Blackheath Primary School had a community fund raising drive and they now have a spectacular Rock Climbing Wall for the youngsters to learn on.  Now that has to be a first!!  

What a great afternoon we've had with Jolang and her lovely husband Curt.  It was terrific to have a catchup on all the news since we've been away.  We always come away feeling in awe of their incredible energy and creative genius.
