Isn't she Lovely!

A light dusting of snow overnight. I had a meeting in town this afternoon, and as the sun was shining  I thought I would do a bit of urban birding along the section of the River Don near the City Centre. despite the fact there was quite a lot of work going on, there quite a few birds around and it was very pleasant, if quite cold. We had a power cut this evening, which is why I am late blipping. This female Goosander was the only one I saw on the river, today, but she was a little closer than the ones in the park last week. Definitely one of my favourite birds.
