Bang stick.

Rushed to get everything fed then off to neighbouring farm for a day's shooting. The first drive was up the hill round a wood on the march fence. The peg I was on was right in the gully at the wood end. It was blowing a hooligan and then the snow started. I can honestly say I've never been as cold for a long time. Half my face felt like I'd just come from the dentist  it was so numb !
The pies and soup at lunch time worked a treat,and the afternoon was more civilized.
Just home tonight,and it is now torrential sideways sleet and gale force winds. Hope the power stays on.
