Volunteers

Our roadsides in the township are kept pretty clear of trash through the volunteer efforts of neighbours. People will volunteer to take care of one-mile stretches and pick up bottles, cans and paper cups that are tossed from passing cars. It is a great service but it makes you wonder at the mentality of those who are the cause of this need.

Much warmer today. I think we are due for a few days that might even reach the 50's. Talking to a friend from Calgary yesterday we learned that they too had weather that had produced these warm days interspersed with their usual low temperatures.
