Arkendeith Field

Another very snowy day, we had a lot overnight, so I didn't get the car out but walked down the hill to the Estate and met Karen and Callie, who were up from Aberdeen for a couple of days.

No Bud in the photo today, he was not a happy bunny! Poor lad, the snow was a lot deeper today and he was carrying a hundred weight of snow on his ears and back legs. We were very cruel and kept laughing at him. His little legs were covered in snowballs, as fast as we took them off they formed again. He was doing bunny hops with his legs wide, wide apart, he did look so funny. If I'd had a sledge I would have popped him on it. Mind you, it didn't stop him chasing Poppy all over the field. Then he went on strike, sat down and refused to move! he came eventually when we all walked on.

I made a fuss of him when we got home, wrapped him up in a warm towel, but every time I thought of those little bunny hops I started to laugh again. Will he ever forgive me!
