The winter sun cast some long shadows of the Victorian bandstand on the pier and I am sure a better photographer could have caught them more efficiently, so to make up for having to cut half of them out of shot, I have turned up the volume on the colours to make it a bit more cheery.

On the other hand, I've given these walkers the b&w treatment.

The pier was recently resurfaced using a mix of materials including crushed seashells. I find it to be less stressful than walking on eggshells.
